No Double Stack For You!

Today, this video review is featuring patches from Uncle Buck though at the moment he’s sold out on all three and the Blems will be (hopefully) restocked as the correct version in the future. Anyway, on with the show! Prepare yourself for some bad puns even though M14 isn’t here!

Leading the pack is Me Little Armalite, the lovely AR18 from Upotte on a 3″ circle patch. A finely made patch that captures her likeness well, but I can’t say that it does the same for the rifle of her namesake. The clear curvature of the rifle draws the eye with how it isn’t an accurate depiction. Past that, I have no complaints. The letters are distinct but in an interesting format and the colors mesh together well. The patch is fine woven material with a merrowed border but the velcro is only attached to the backing with adhesive. That said, it seems quite sturdy and I don’t foresee it being problematic in the future.

Next we have our Right Girl of the Free World, everyone’s favorite FAL-neechan. Disregard the fact she’s an inch pattern rifle and enjoy this 4″ by 3″ patch. This patch does a better job of depicting the rifle, an L1A1, in the hands of the same raifu. The raifu is also easy on the eyes, too. However, looking at the patch you can tell that it’s a little closer to the left side than the right. It’s just a small complaint about symmetry and I wouldn’t let it stop you from purchasing one. As with the previous patch, this is a fine woven patch with a merrowed border and velcro backing.

Bringing up the rear is a Glock G36 in a reminder that her design fails to allow her to accept No Double Stacks. It may have a blemish near the bottom but it’s still a fine-looking patch. Jokes aside, this representation differentiates from the original in that she has slightly more oppai this time around. My picture fails to do the patch justice as the details are all there and you can make out the G36 on the side of the depicted pistol. These patches have blemishes in a way that’s only slightly noticeable and while they may not truly be collectible, they’re certainly desirable along with the future corrected drop. They are also manufactured in the same manner as the prior two patches.
Note: Buck has informed me that there’s a version more accurate to the source material coming from another retailer but we’re waiting for those.

Self-proclaimed to be the most sporadic writer for TKB, I simply likes guns and patches. So strap yourselves in for some high-octane tactical action with guns, patches, stickers, and musings what some would consider intellectual or inane. Oh, and it isn't really that high octane now that I think about it.
